“”I believe in evidence. I believe in observation, measurement, and reasoning, confirmed by independent observers. I’ll believe anything, no matter how wild and ridiculous, if there is evidence for it. The wilder and more ridiculous something is, however, the firmer and more solid the evidence will have to be.
No one knows the future; everyone creates it.
Every action begins with an idea.
Every idea, when repeated grows stronger.
Affirmations really do come true.
Affirmations become reality whether spoken alone or as a group.
Affirming the destruction of Planet Earth is a popular idea.
Popularity is not a good reason for choosing Fear.
We must love the vengeful insiders.
The salvation of us all will come not from doing battle but by experiencing Love.
Smile; our only hope is to Accept the Gift of Love and to Pass it on.
Revenge and punishment are the smug expression of weak egos and bad dreams.
This is the Sermon of the Bully Pulpit.
The angry parent who spanks their child while stating “I’m doing this for your own good” is a liar.
Ignore the Fear.
Accept the Love.
Pass It On.
ONLY THIS THAT OR THE OTHER
Only the skeptic requires the affirmation of faith.
Only the atheist believes that the lack of evidence is evidence.
Only the agnostic may discover Truth if Truth exists.
Only Love makes All Things possible.
ACCEPT the LOVE and Pass It On..
GURU: Where did you get the idea that you are not good enough?
NOVICE: Do you think that I’m getting better?
GURU: I do; you are getting much better.
NOVICE: That’s where.
WATCHING MY CHILDREN
(edited from yesterday)
Watching my children loving their children and their children’s children almost encourages me to stop beating myself for all my meanness when drinking during The Fifties & Sixties..
But wait…there’s more…
Whenever there is a video from my son and his grandkids, I recognize his words; as he talks to the shorties; Billy Bob is copying his Papa.
HAT RACK / HONESTY
Any remark can be made to sound truer than it really is if offered as a quotation.
ODE TO A WANNABE WINGER
The newt had four legs; had a will; had to fly
With a splash left the earth, left the earth for the sky.
The avian ringer, the wannabe winger,
The newt, un-feathered, with a will; it was I.
One person affirms: “Affirmations don’t work for me”.
Another person avers that any thought, which occupies a person’s mind more than once is an affirmation.
Thus affirmed, this thought is destined to become an idea to be developed.
This idea will become a value, a bias, a prejudice.
This idea may become a work of art, a grand design, another life.
This idea will have by this time helped to define a personality.
This idea will change the world.
What do you believe?
